What does a consultation involve?
An initial consultation will last approximately one and a half hours. This allows time for me to fully un derstand the cause of a patients health problems. I will ask about the symptoms being experienced, family history, any medication being taken, diet, fluid intake, and medical history from birth and current general health. I always test blood pressure and will test urine where necessary. I use tongue diagnosis, basic iridology and will also offer a safe and confidential space to discuss any personal or emotional issues.
All herbal medication is individually prepared in my dispensary. Medicines are available for collection at the clinic reception the following morning or can be posted to those who have travelled from further away.
A follow up appointment is usually arranged 2-3 weeks after the initial consultation.
Treatment continues for as long as needed, for minor ailments this might be a matter of days, for chronic ailments that have been present for many years, treatment may last for several months. I would give a clear indication of the expected timescale at your initial consultation.
