Personal profile for Ross Menzies Medical Herbalist.

I am a fully trained, insured Medical Herbalist and registered with The Association of Master Herbalists (AMH). I also have a degree in Psychology and a foundation qualification in Kinesiology.

I spent 5 years training to be a herbalist and qualified in 1998. Since qualifying I have developed a thriving practice and see patients with a broad range of health problems from minor ailments (e.g. coughs, flu, ear infections) to much more chronic conditions (e.g. eczema, arthritis, IBS). 
 
In 2005 I studied Kinesiology with the Systematic school of Kinesiology. This training has enabled me to test for food intolerances and to help balance and correct the bodies more subtle energies. I find this complements my herbal medicine. I am also trained to offer nutritional advice.

I have lectured on professional herbal medicine courses and also Complementary therapies degree courses. I have also editied a professional journal. I currently run courses at Dilston Physic garden which is linked to The Plant research centre at Newcastle university.
