I am an experienced consultant medical herbalist and prescribe herbal medicines as well as offering nutritional advice, and kinesiology. My clinics are located in Hexham, (North east England) and are easily accessible from Newcastle or Carlisle.
I prescribe individually blended herbal medicines using mostly organic or wildcrafted herbs. I also use hand made herbal essences.
I have been in practice for 10 years and have experience of treating babies / toddlers, children and adults. I have treated many conditions and imbalances from minor health issues to the most chronic. I work from a Naturopathic perspective to encourage the body to heal itself using gentle herbal medicines, dietary advice, and by working with my patients to understand and deal with the root causes of their health problem. Herbal medicine has a very long history of use and there are many native plants and trees that have wonderful healing properties.
I use high quality western herbal medicines, most are organic / biodynamically grown or wildcrafted. I believe in using the best quality medicines that are grown and harvested in a sustainable way.
If the underlying imbalances that are causing symptoms are corrected, the benefits are lasting. I have seen herbal medicines support many many people back to health and vitality often where conventional medicine has failed to help.

I offer an optional free short appointment to assess whether herbal medicine will be of benefit to you. Individual detox programmes with nutritional and herbal support are also available.
